Title:Supply Chain Business Analyst (2 Openings)\ Location:Deerfield, IL\ Duration: 6 Months\ \ Job Description:

primary responsibilities of this role that account for 5% or more of the work.\ The incumbent will perform other duties assigned.

1. Gather, understand and document business objectives, specifications and requirements on subgroup of medium size project.\ 2. Analysis on location/ code GTIN impact in order to define, design, and document business flows, processes and execution.\ 4. Define and articulate business rules required for reliable and accurate data. Act as the primary contact for the data management process between inventory supply chain and the business.

\ Collaborate with Network Planner and Supply (Network) Manager to execute:\ o mid-cycle IPS & DRP parameters adjustments\ o low cover and back-order risks mitigation/ product re-allocation/ inventory destruction prevention\ o product phase outs\ o strategic and situational stock build planning and order placement for optimal consumption.

  • Identify, analyze, propose and document appropriate inventory movement solutions. Identify and understand issues that may impact day-to-day operations and or project inventory destruction costs. Use technical tools for (queries, process maps, etc) for problem resolution.
  • Understand and follow appropriate planning responsibilities for plant and inventory mapping driven by GTIN changes in the region.
  • Communicate status, solutions and concerns. Disseminate information in a timely manner within the team and across functions or teams. Establish and maintain relationships within the business or function.
  • Develop, assign and customize workaround archetypes.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required:

  • Experience person in supply chain management - warehousing, distribution, logistics, transportation, customer service or inventory planning would be preferred.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal/written/listening). Solid business knowledge. Sense of urgency with strong follow-up skills.
  • Must be detailed oriented and able to work with in a team setting. Include the education and experience that is necessary to perform the job satisfactorily.
  • Bachelor\'s degree preferred or relevant work experience in inventory planning or supply chain management.
  • Knowledge of supply chain planning processes
  • Must be able to work with a high degree of independence to produce results with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, JDE, Rapid Response (preferred) and demonstrated ability to perform advanced analytics
