Jacobs Entry Level Transportation Engineer in Holladay, Utah

We are looking for an Entry Level Transportation Engineer in Holladay Utah interested in working on exciting and engaging large-scale infrastructure projects including highway/roadway design and other transportation related projects. You’ll work with the best Professional Engineers and Project Managers in the business. We want you to be empowered to deliver the bold solutions for everyday living.

You’ll be accountable for schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks, as you gain familiarity with the client’s expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. You’ll be surrounded by the expert mentorship of Professional Engineers and plenty of opportunities to help you thrive in your new career.

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or Transportation Engineering or a closely related field

  • Strong mathematical and analytical skill

  • Strong communication, time management and organizational skills

  • Knowledge of and experience using CADD/Design software (preferably Microstation/OpenRoads/Geopak or Civil 3D)

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • Engineer in Training (EIT) or on track to obtain

  • Previous transportation design experience or transportation-related coursework

  • Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering or Transportation Engineering
