Summary
As a Controls Engineer I, you will support the design, installation, and maintenance of vendor specific PLC systems.
Responsibilities:
Program the automation and controls systems of various manufacturers (Italy, Japan, Korea)
Create, monitor, and modify logic for program design, simulation and testing, start-up, and troubleshooting
Manipulate these items using Mitsubishi:
Q Series PLC
Networking with CC-Link & SSCNET III
Motion control with servo motor & robot
Integrate and implement various systems such as: Bar Code & RFID Reading, Robot, Ultrasonic Welding, Vision, Weigh Scale, Gas Sampling, etc.
Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards:
Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain
Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent, relevant experience
Experience:
1 to 3+ years of experience working in a manufacturing or automotive engineering environment through an internship, co-op, entry level job role, or similar
Exposure to controls and electrical systems design, automation, mechanical assemblies, and manufacturing assembly equipment from an internship, co-op, entry level job role, or similar
Exposure or education in Battery systems or processes is preferred but not required

Working knowledge of electrical systems and computer programming
On-call status is required
