Ideal candidate would operate a variety of machines, which have been set-up. Some part assembly to prepare for fabrication of parts. Use of tapping machines to get parts ready to ship or be worked on.

*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES *include the following.

• Other duties may be assigned: 
• Check quality of parts using visual inspection. 
• Performs calculations (adding, dividing, multiplying, and subtracting) as necessary to determine locations of part features, such as holes, slots, and ribs, working from dimensional drawings, using shop math involving fractions and decimals; 
• Packages and labels finished parts as necessary; 
• Selects, cross references, and copies proper prints, verifies and corrects errors, plans courses of action in absence of generally used specifications, and makes original decisions about quality and operation sequence; 
• Assemble multiple parts preparing for use in production. 
• Use tapping equipment to finish parts.
