Title: Journeyman Electrician
Reports to: Energy Engineering Manager
Location: Holland, MI
Journeyman: Starting pay ranging from $34 to $40 per hour, with an additional 8% shift premium applied for 2nd shift or a 6% shift premium for 3rd shift.

Summary:
Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical equipment to ensure continuous production, execute regular preventive maintenance plan (TPM) and modify equipment as needed. This position is focused on PLC controls-related work and will be involved with mechanical or electrical work as needed and as qualified.
Responsibilities:
Perform technical or electrical work to troubleshoot, repair, and modify equipment, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
Check equipment regularly to ensure normal operating activity
Coordinate with outside sources to schedule maintenance for more complex issues
Track and document repairs
Perform regular preventative maintenance
Maintain a safe work environment
Monitor data from measuring devices
Work in a clean room and climate-controlled environment
Complete additional projects as assigned (e.g., wiring new sensors, gathering materials, sizing wire)
Perform physical tasks such as lifting, climbing ladders, and assembling large and small part assemblies and components
Fill in for other technicians as needed
Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards:

Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container
Follow LGESMI existing cleaning SOP’s during downtime (e.g. line stop, waiting time, etc.), which includes cleaning your designated machine and/or surrounding work area
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required; Vocational Certificate or Associates Degree preferred or equivalent, relevant experience
Journeyman license preferred
Experience:
Pneumatic and hydraulics experience
3 to 5+ years of experience preferred
Manufacturing experience preferred
