DESCRIPTION OF WORK Shape the Future of Transportation Infrastructure:

As a CET, you'll be actively involved in various aspects of civil engineering through a structured training program. Here's a glimpse of what you can expect:

Get Your Hands Dirty: Assist with field data collection, traffic studies, and construction inspections. Design and Analysis: Contribute to preliminary engineering studies, draft reports, and prepare design elements for highway and bridge projects. Technical Expertise: Develop proficiency in using industry-standard software and tools for civil engineering applications. Rotational Program: Experience diverse work environments across Design, Construction, and Maintenance divisions, including the Central Office in Harrisburg.This position offers a dynamic and enriching experience that will propel your engineering knowledge and career aspirations.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment. Multiple positions may be filled from this posting. Work hours are 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Telework: This position will have the option to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, reporting to the headquarters location (Hollidaysburg, PA) will be required. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Four years of civil engineering experience, and an Engineer-in-Training certificate issued by or acceptable to the Pennsylvania State Registration Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists; or A bachelor's degree in civil engineering, or in a closely related field, which includes or was supplemented by major course work in civil engineering; or An equivalent combination of experience and training which includes possession of an Engineer-in-Training certificate issued by or acceptable to the Pennsylvania State Registration Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists. Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within nine months of graduating with a qualifying degree.Conditions of Employment: This position also requires possession of a valid driver's license which is not under suspension.Other Requirements:

PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title. You must be able to perform essential ob functions.How to Apply:
