Robert Half Enterprise Infrastructure Administrator in Hollywood, California

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Network Administrator in Hollywood, California. You will be part of a team that supports and maintains IT infrastructure, monitors network performance, and ensures the security and integrity of digital information. This role involves working with servers, network equipment, systems, and service providers of IT.

Responsibilities:

• Work in accordance with established IT Infrastructure policies and procedures, supporting and maintaining IT Infrastructure.

• Provide support for servers (virtual and physical), network equipment, systems, and service providers of IT.

• Handle patch management for IT Infrastructure.

• Monitor the performance of infrastructure, systems, storage, and network.

• Develop a baseline and build historical data for analysis.

• Provide recommendations for optimization and/or improvements to IT leaders and other business units.

• Maintain data center environmental and monitoring equipment.

• Coordinate with other business units to provision new IT Infrastructure services while adhering to standards and policies.

• Maintain Active Directory and update as required by other business units.

• Participate actively in the Onboarding/Offboarding process with HR, Security, Operation, and Facilities.

• Ensure the security and integrity of all digital information stored in Infrastructure-supported storage mediums.

• Provide purchasing information for recommended Infrastructure solutions, hardware, and software.

• Maintain the established disaster recovery and business continuity plan in conjunction with business units and IT leadership.

• Identify improvements needed and provide recommended solutions to business and IT leadership.

• Troubleshoot Infrastructure issues, identify and recommend solutions timely.

• Engage vendors, if needed, and act as a liaison between business units and external experts.

• Provide Tier 3 support where necessary.

• Identify opportunities and train users and technicians as required. Requirements • Must hold a minimum of 3 years of experience in Network Administration or a related field

• Proficiency in Wintel, MS Windows, Networks, Network Security, Network Infrastructure, and Enterprise Architecture is essential

• Must possess a strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware

• Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network devices including WAPs, firewalls, routers, switches, and controllers

• A deep knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols is required

• Must possess the ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems

• Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources is necessary

• Must have the ability to work with all levels of staff within and outside of IT and outside the organization

• A self-starter able to work independently but comfortable working in a team environment

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills

• Dependable and flexible when necessary
