POSITION:Assistant Administrative Coordinator for Curriculum and Assessment Services (FT)PROGRAM: Educational Support Services (ESS)ASSIGNMENT:Curriculum and Assessment Programs - Third Party Assessments and Model SchoolsLOCATION: Instructional Support Center @ Sequoya, Holtsville, NYQUALIFICATIONS:•NYS SDA/SDL Certification•Demonstrate commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environmentRESPONSIBILITIES:•Assist the Program Administrator in managing the Third Party Assessment Program, ensuring that districts effectively utilize assessment tools such as NWEA, i-Ready, AIMSweb, and other assessments to enhance student outcomes, ensuring that data informs and shapes instructional strategies and interventions•Offer assistance and direction to districts in the implementation of effective strategies for utilizing third party assessment products•Provide training for educational leaders on best practices in using various assessment products•Engage with Third Party Assessment vendors to ensure the implementation of effective assessment strategies aligned with the NYS learning standards•Assist the Program Administrator in overseeing Model Schools program and lead Educational Technology Coaches to ensure effective integration of technology into the curriculum•Assist in managing technology grants•Assist with conducting regular observations of Educational Technology Coaches as well as evaluations of all program staff to promote continuous improvement and best practices•Actively participate in regional and state committees, contributing expertise and insights to advance educational technology and assessment initiativesSTART DATE: November 20, 2024SALARY: $111,574.00Studies show that women and members of some groups are more likely to underestimate their qualifications for a position.
