Director of Programs Salary Range: \$60,000 to \$65,000 FulltimeReports to: Executive Director Location: Enlace de Familias, 299 Main Street, Holyoke, MA Enlace de Familias Inc. is a community-based, non-profit organization recognized as a 501(c)(3). The mission of Enlace de Familias is to create a community where all families have the opportunity to enhance their quality of life. We achieve this through parent education and community organizing. Enlace utilizes grassroots community organizing to focus on downtown Holyoke\'s neighborhoods, which are segregated and low-income areas of the city. General Summary The Director of Programs is responsible for the strategic development, implementation, and oversight of all Enlace de Familias programs. This individual ensures programs are aligned with organizational goals, evidence-based, and delivered to the highest quality. The Director will oversee budgets, program performance, staff development, and reporting while maintaining a strong connection to the community and its needs. As a member of the Executive Team, the Director contributes to strategic planning and organizational leadership. Key Responsibilities Program Design and Implementation ? Assess community needs and design effective, evidence-based program delivery strategies. ? Define program scope and objectives, involving relevant staff and stakeholders. ? Develop and oversee program plans to ensure progress, accountability, and success. ? Monitor, track, and report on program performance, including goals and client satisfaction. ? Adapt to changes in program scope, schedule, or budget. ? Foster partnerships that enhance the organization?s programs and impact. Fiscal Oversight and Fundraising ? Manage program budgets, ensuring all activities remain on time, within scope, and cost-effective. ? Collaborate with the Executive Director and Development Team to support fundraising efforts, including events. Staff Supervision and Development ? Supervise program staff, providing coaching, guidance, and professional development opportunities. ? Motivate and support staff to deliver high-quality programs. ? Delegate responsibilities based on team members? strengths, skills, and experience. ? Conduct performance evaluations and foster continuous improvement. ? Communicates respectfully, considering diverse personalities, and provides adequate guidance to staff that aligns with the work culture of the organization. Program Delivery ? Oversee the implementation of services, ensuring they meet program goals and standards. ? Assist with direct service delivery as necessary. ? Capable of meeting the milestones established by the Executive Director. ? Develop processes that can adapt based on the needs of the community and staff. ? Capable of developing Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with key partners and stakeholders to ensure the longevity of programs in the best interest of the organization. ? Capable of attending all events hosted by the organization and partners to ensure community engagement goals are met. Educational Programs ? Develop and oversee quality educational programs, including Nurturing Fathers and other parenting programs as required by current and future contracts. ? Train and supervise others in the delivery of educational content. ? Evaluate and refine educational programs to ensure relevance and effectiveness. ? Collaborate with Community partners to ensure program delivery is mutually beneficial. Qualifications and Skills Required ? Bachelors degree ? Strategic planning and program management expertise. ? Experience with budget management and program tracking. ? Strong coaching, supervision, and staff development skills. ? Proficiency in performance management and process improvement. ? Excellent verbal and written communication skills. ? Knowledge of the Holyoke community and its resources. Preferred ?
