egular, Full-Time, RCUH Non-Civil Service position with the Hawaii Green Growth (HGG), Hawaii Local2030 Hub, located in Honolulu, Hawaii. Telework (from employees residence city and state) may be permissible subject to review and approval by Principal Investigator and RCUH.

Continuation of employment is dependent upon program/operational needs, satisfactory work performance, availability of funds, and compliance with applicable Federal/State laws.

MONTHLY SALARY RANGE: $6,250 - $7,083/Mon.

DUTIES: Under direction of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), provides leadership and support to the Hawaii Green Growth (HGG) network

to advance environmental, social, and economic priorities through the Aloha+ Challenge - Hawaii's local framework to achieve the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The Hawaii Local2030 Hub is one of seven Local2030 sustainability centers of excellence around the world and only such hub in North America. Responsible for outward facing communications and managing the network and Aloha+ Challenge. The Manager

works closely with senior staff to advance strategic priorities, anticipate issues, respond to opportunities, identify project needs, build strong relationships with stakeholders and manage deadlines. Seeks and advances development and fundraising activities. The Manager engages local, state, and national key stakeholders, and plans, coordinates and implements special events to help the network meet its goals and pursue its mission.

PRIMARY QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION

Bachelors Degree from an accredited four (4) year college or university in Communications, International Relations, Public Policy, Sustainable Development, or related field.

EXPERIENCE

Five to seven (5-7) years of experience working in government, business or non-profit organization, which includes responsibilities in partner engagement, fundraising and development, strategic planning, and managing diverse programs.

KNOWLEDGE

Knowledge of how to implement complex and multi-faceted initiatives that require extensive coordination of business, philanthropic, civil-society, community, academic, and government stakeholders at the local, State, Federal, and global level. Knowledge of communications, outreach, and engagement strategies and principles.

ABILITIES and SKILLS

Leadership and personnel management skills. Ability to motivate, support, and work well with diverse networks and partners. Expertise in communications, engagement and outreach activities. Proficient in strategic thinking, innovation, and policy, as well as ability to thrive in adaptable and fast-paced work environments. Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills. Proficient in computer skills for internet research and email, Microsoft Office programs/applications, Adobe, and other communications technologies.

Ability to effectively conduct work remotely (e.g., telework) as applicable. Post Offer/Employment Condition: Must be able to pass a post offer criminal background check. Must be able to complete the UH Information Security Awareness Training (ISAT) within two (2) weeks from date of hire, and re-certify every twelve (12) months.

PHYSICAL/MEDICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to support event logistics, which includes the ability to lift, carry, and set-up materials that weigh up to thirty (30) pounds.
