Queen's Health System IT Security Risk Analyst III - IT Security (Full Time, 40, Day) in Honolulu, Hawaii

RESPONSIBILITIES

I. JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supports and maintains the Information Technology (IT) Security Risk functions that include Privacy, Vendor Security Accreditation, Risk Management and Disaster Recovery.

• Provides daily support of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) systems & procedures to identify policy violation incidents, investigate/process/escalate according to policy and provide monthly reporting. Assists in managing the DLP systems and maintaining rules.

• Supports the IT Risk Management function including tracking risks & controls, monitoring and reporting on remediation activities and participation in risk assessments.

• Supports the Vendor Security Accreditation process to review 3rd parties’ security controls to ensure they adequately protect QHS patient, employee or other confidential information as applicable.

• Assists in supporting the IT Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity Planning functions, policies and procedures, including reporting on plan currency.

II. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Continuous: seeing, speaking; repetitive arm/hand motions.

• Frequent: standing, sitting, walking, finger dexterity, hearing.

• Occasional: stooping/bending; lifting and carrying usual amount of 12 pounds; reaching above shoulder level.

• Operates computer equipment and copying machines.

III. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Not substantially subjected to adverse environmental conditions.

• Work schedule includes providing 24 hour/7 days a week support as required.

IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

A. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, business, healthcare or related field; or four (4) years work experience in information technology may be substituted for educational requirement.

B. EXPERIENCE:

• In addition to the educational requirement, two (2) years experience in information technology.

• Knowledge of computer technology as related to telecommunications, networks and client operations.
