We are currently seeking a highly skilled and passionate Physical Therapist to join our esteemed team at Always Best Care Senior Services - Oahu. As a Physical Therapist, you will have the unique chance to provide exceptional and personalized care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes. You will have the flexibility to create your own schedule, aligning it with your personal needs and preferences. In this pivotal role, you will conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the individual needs of patients, both initially and on an ongoing basis. Working closely with physicians, you will develop and modify personalized treatment plans based on patient progress. Additionally, you will contribute to the development and implementation of interdisciplinary patient care plans specifically tailored to physical therapy. Collaborating closely with physicians, you will administer diagnostic and prognostic tests to evaluate patients' muscle, nerve, joint, and functional abilities. Through a diverse range of proven physical therapy techniques, such as exercises, massage therapies, heat treatments, aquatic therapy, light therapy, and electrotherapy, you will effectively alleviate pain, enhance function, and optimize performance. In this role, you will also educate and guide both patients and their families in the physical therapy program. Additionally, you will provide necessary equipment to support the treatment plan and coordinate outpatient services for procedures that cannot be administered at home. Ensuring accurate and timely records of evaluations, treatments, and patients' therapy intervention responses are maintained is of utmost importance. Furthermore, you will provide supervision to Physical Therapy Assistants and paraprofessionals, strictly adhering to agency policies. The requirements for this position include being a graduate of a Physical Therapy school approved by the Council of Medical Education of the American Medical Association, in collaboration with the American Physical Therapy Association. A valid license to practice Physical Therapy in the state of Hawaii is also mandatory. Preferred qualifications include a minimum of one year of institutional/home health experience. A complete criminal background check and current CPR certification are both essential. We offer competitive compensation ranging from $55,000 to $70,000 per year, accompanied by a flexible schedule.
