Job Description: Hawaii's Best Workplace is hiring for a company looking to hire an Office Assistant for a 6-month contract with the opportunity to renew for a year and possible continuous renewal. They are seeking someone who has great organizational and communication to join their team as an Office Assistant. In this role, you would ensure that all office files are well-organized and maintained, while effectively handling communications and routine administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Type and format a variety of documents, ensuring accuracy and proper arrangement.
  • Answer phones, greet visitors, and direct inquiries to appropriate staff.
  • Maintain and organize office files, ensuring proper coding and cross-referencing.
  • Compose routine correspondence and handle standard forms and reports.
  • Perform miscellaneous tasks, including preparing supply requests, making travel arrangements, and maintaining logs.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma (completion of course in typing and arithmetic)
  • More than 2 years of experience in general office and typing experience
  • Typing of tables and charts experience
