The Cigna Group Pharmacy Technician Representative - Honolulu, HI - Onsite in Honolulu, Hawaii

Job Description

*The selected candidate will work on-site at Accredo Health Group, Inc., 677 Ala Moana Blvd. Suite 404, Honolulu, HI*

Training Schedule

6-week training from 8a - 5p, Local Time. Monday - Friday

Post Training Shift

You will be required to work an 8-hour shift between the hours of 6a - 5p, Local Time. Monday - Friday.

Job Summary

Works as part of the fulfilment team in prescription management. Responsibilities will include benefits investigation and verification, pick, pack and shipping of medications, order entry, customer service note entry, inventory management, patient and provider correspondence, and any other tasks assigned by management Must adhere to strict HIPAA regulation especially when communicating to others outside of Express Scripts. All team members will be expected to work as per Policies and Procedures (P&P) and work instructions with onsite or offsite departments, internal or external to the company as directed. The weights listed in Essential Functions will vary as size and needs of the department change. All team members are expected to work with Supervisors and Management to cross-train and develop proficiency across all functional areas of the job.

Role Responsibilities

  • Standard Work includes processing prescription and inventory management and is subject to change by Supervisor/Manager.

  • Works in a production setting to help production needs and stay familiar with current work instructions.

  • Primary focus will be fulfilment and inventory management but willingness to cross train in all functions is expected.

  • Patient calls

  • Patients may pick up medication in person

There will be additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required.

  • 6+ months pharmacy technician experience strongly preferred.

  • Pharmacy Technician license / certification / registration preferred but not required

  • Basic math skills and general PC knowledge including Microsoft Office, Internet, and email

  • Strong Verbal and written communication skills desired

  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality.

  • Comfortable in holding people accountable to hit production rates and the ability to determine to appropriate reasons when rates are not met.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment to learn quickly, solve problems, and make decisions with minimal supervision .

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, production environment.

  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate peak.

  • volume times and adjust to changing needs from the enterprise.

  • A willingness and ability to learn internal systems/processes/programs as needed.

This role is Worksite dependent and can only be performed onsite.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of 17 - 26 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
