Finn Partners Research Associate in Honolulu, Hawaii

FINN Partners’ Honolulu office is looking for a Research Associate to help support the development and execution of qualitative and quantitative research programs to uncover strategic business insights for clients in a wide variety of industries. The Research Associate will work in a demanding and fast paced environment that requires flexibility, quick thinking, attention to detail, strong communication skills, and entrepreneurial drive.

As a Research Associate, you will support all phases of qualitative and quantitative market research projects (from helping with proposals to developing final presentations) to ensure projects accomplish research objectives within the appropriate timelines/budgets.

Additionally, you will be tasked with:

  • Connecting research to other parts of the company through strong cross-functional collaboration, allowing research to be seen as a thought partner across all functions.

  • Assist with planning and execution of qualitative research interviews, including individual and/or focus group discussions.

  • Review the quality of projects.

  • Provide support and input into proposed research design.

  • Prepare and reviews client invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with terms of contract or proposal.

  • Prepare reports and presentations as requested.

    The ideal candidate brings strong project management experience, demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, and willingness to provide administrative support when needed. Additionally, the Research Associate will bring a demonstrated k nowledge (or acute curiosity) of Hawaii’s culture and its impact on business, understanding the role of communications in marketing and public relations, and excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

    Along with the qualifications listed above, you will be considered as a candidate if you have:

  • One (1) to three (3) years’ experience in market research, marketing, communications, client services, or related field.

  • Solution-oriented problem-solving skills.

  • Strong project management skills.

  • An ability to respond well under pressure.

  • A strong ability to focus on accuracy, attention-to-detail, and timeliness.

  • An ability to balance the needs of clients, end users, and the business.

  • An ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines with demanding quality requirements.

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Behavioral Sciences, Marketing, or related field.

    This role may occasionally require work during evenings and weekends, as well as overnight travel.

    Compensation Range: $45,000 - $55,000 commiserate with experience.
