Summary:

The Senior Intelligent Automation Developer at Oshkosh Corporation will lead the development and delivery of intelligent automation solutions using UiPath, Power Platform, and Generative AI (GenAI) technologies. This role involves streamlining business processes, improving operational efficiency, ensuring security and scalability, and utilizing GenAI tools for automation and process innovation. The Senior Developer will also mentor junior developers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the success of automation projects that align with Oshkosh’s strategic initiatives.

Your Impact:

  • Lead Automation & GenAI Initiatives: Develop and lead automation solutions using UiPath, Power Platform, and GenAI tools to solve complex business challenges, ensuring high-quality delivery and measurable success.

  • Collaboration: Work with business stakeholders, IT teams, and internal audit functions to design and implement automation solutions that comply with security standards and leverage GenAI for process innovation.

  • GenAI Expertise: Utilize Generative AI models and tools to enhance automation workflows, improve decision-making processes, and generate solutions for complex business scenarios.

  • UiPath & Power Platform Expertise: Develop and maintain expertise in both platforms, ensuring smooth operation of workflows, bots, and AI-driven processes.

  • Security and Compliance: Implement security protocols, particularly in credential management, and ensure compliance with SOC standards, integrating automations and AI solutions with enterprise security frameworks.

  • Process Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation (PDDs, SDDs) for automation and AI-driven solutions, ensuring scalability, audibility, and alignment with COE standards.

  • Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, particularly in the integration of AI tools and automation platforms, conducting code reviews, and promoting best practices.

  • Agile Methodology: Participate in agile processes, ensuring automation and AI-driven solutions are delivered on time and meet business needs.

  • Production Support: Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for both automation and AI solutions in production environments, supporting debugging, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Automation & GenAI Development: Design, develop, and implement intelligent automation solutions using UiPath, Power Platform, and GenAI technologies, with a focus on enhancing business process efficiency.

  • AI Integration: Leverage GenAI tools for tasks such as natural language processing, predictive modeling, and content generation to improve automation outcomes.

  • Orchestrator Management: Manage bots in UiPath Orchestrator, ensuring efficient scheduling, deployment, and synchronization of automated and AI-driven processes.

  • Security & Scalability: Ensure automation and AI solutions meet enterprise standards for security, scalability, and performance.

  • Reusable Components: Develop reusable automation and AI components to streamline solution deployment across various business processes.

  • Integration & API Development: Build and maintain integrations across enterprise systems using APIs (Postman, REST, SOAP, JSON, XML) and incorporate AI models where appropriate.

  • Incident Management & Support: Serve as an SME for incident escalations related to automation and AI technologies, providing technical support as needed.

  • Collaboration & Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams, working with business analysts and other technology experts to deliver automation and AI-driven solutions that meet business objectives.

  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Develop test plans, conduct unit testing, and ensure that automation and AI solutions are thoroughly tested before deployment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in intelligent automation development, RPA, GenAI, or related fields.

  • UiPath Certified Professional Automation Developer Professional and/or Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate Certification

  • Proficiency in UiPath, Power Platform, and familiarity with Generative AI tools and models.

  • Strong understanding of security and compliance frameworks, particularly in credential management and SOC compliance.

  • Experience with ITIL methodology and incident tracking systems.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and mentor junior developers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • UiPath Certified Professional Specialized AI Professional, UiPath Certified Professional Automation Solution Architect Professional or Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert Certifications

  • Experience in GenAI technologies, such as natural language processing or predictive modeling.

  • Familiarity with agile and scrum methodologies.

  • Strong technical skills in API development, AI model integration, and enterprise system communication.

  • Previous experience working in a Center of Excellence (COE) for automation and AI.

This role at Oshkosh Corporation will be critical in driving innovation, efficiency, and strategic use of both intelligent automation and AI tools, ensuring compliance and scalability while contributing to the company’s forward-looking initiatives.

Pay Range:

$91,800.00 - $153,200.00

The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
