We are in search of a Staff Accountant to become a part a great team in Honolulu area. The Staff Accountant will be crucial in handling financial tasks and ensuring accuracy in our financial records. This role will also involve interacting with various departments, processing financial information, and managing customer inquiries. Responsibilities

• Conduct account reconciliation to maintain accurate records

• Handle financial statement preparation tasks diligently and professionally

• Oversee the process of job costing to ensure efficiency and accuracy

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable to maintain financial transparency

• Assist with budgeting and forecasting to help drive financial planning

• Handle the payroll process, ensuring employees are compensated correctly and on time

• Use skills such as financial statement preparation, account reconciliation, and budgeting to ensure financial tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Financial Statement Preparation

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Demonstrated ability in Account Reconciliation

• Experience in handling Payroll

• Knowledge of Costing procedures

• Expertise in Budgeting and Budgeting Forecasting

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Proficiency in accounting software

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
