Actalent Structural CAD Designer in Honolulu, Hawaii

Summary:

Actalent in search of a Structural CAD Designer who is looking to join a multi-disciplinary engineering firm. A professional who has experience in either the private or public sector is well preferred!

Responsibilities will shift back and forth between detailed structural drafting design, and serving as overall project CAD lead as well as conducting field investigations for various tasks such as verification of as-built conditions. This requires the ability to develop drawings in conformance with project specifications, client CAD standards, scope of work, design parameters, codes, and industry practices and possible travel to various office or project locations. When serving in either capacity, your work will be focused on delivering complete and accurate design packages to clients.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from a certified CAD training program or a Technical/Associates degree in engineering or related field (preferred).

  • Previous experience in AutoCAD and 3D software (Revit preferred) for Architectural or Structural design projects.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to travel to job sites as needed.

  • Self-motivated and willing to attend software training sessions for professional development.

Pay Rate is $29/hr to $38.50/hr (Commensurate hourly equivalent of a salary range from 60,320 to 80,080 )

We offer a hybrid 3/2 schedule (3 days in the office, 2 days at home)
