Join us in supporting production by assisting with parts handling, slitting, and shearing operations. Location: Hopkins, MN Wage: Competitive pay rate of $20.50 - $21.50/hour (Depending on the qualifications) Hours: 3:15 pm 1:45 pm, Monday Thursday Benefits of the machine operator: Competitive hourly wage Opportunity for skill development Supportive and collaborative work environment Friendly work environment Clean and modern shop Medical Dental Vision FSA Life Disability Accident Critical Duties of the machine operator: Know and follow safety rules for machines and tasks performed Support production by assisting with parts handling, slitting, and shearing operations Handle, feed, and stack parts under the direction of Set-Up Technicians or Lead Set-Up Technician Maintain a clean and organized production area Perform other shop duties as assigned Report to Set-Up Technician, Lead Set-Up Technician, and Production Manager Requirements of the machine operator: Ability to accurately and consistently use a tape measure Strong work ethic and problem-solving skills Able to understand and follow directions given in English Intermittent standing, walking, and unassisted lifting up to 40 lbs. 1 year minimum of current experience in a metal manufacturing environment is required.
