Job Description
The Business Analyst sits within the WCIB Chief Product Office organization, which is responsible for driving product strategy and evolution of WCIB products in the following areas: Custody, Alternatives, ETFs, Registered Funds, Data.
This person is responsible for planning and executing product change management together with the product manager and project manager for your assigned product.
Execution includes gathering and documenting requirements and testing. Our goal is to ensure that the program, products, or projects are planned and implemented following quality agile and project management disciplines.
Depending on the needs of the program/product/project and the resource availability, you may be asked to play one or more roles on a variety of assignments at a time. Flexibility, a sense of urgency, collaborative leadership, and effective communication skills are critical to the successful implementation of this goal.
Responsibilities include:
Responsible for elicitation, analysis, and documentation of business and functional requirements
Develops and executes test plans to ensure successful delivery of a project
May serve as a business technology subject matter expert for assigned functional applications to assist business lines with analysis, development, and ongoing support
Interfaces with internal and external resources to ensure successful completion, installation, and implementation in accordance with stakeholder needs
Frequently interfaces with business lines, including management, and/or internal resources to ensure quality, timeliness, and testing of all project/release work
Participates in developing and maintaining detailed knowledge of the business's current technology and infrastructure from a functional perspective as well as operational processes
Acts as a liaison between technical development teams and internal business line stakeholders
Acts as a Business Readiness Lead, develop readiness plans, manages readiness tasks, escalates as needed and reports on status
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
10 or more years of direct experience with project management responsibilities
Preferred Skills/Experience
Experience in the financial services industry, with extensive knowledge of custody accounts or related activity
Ability to conduct an analysis of business needs, including scheduling meetings, planning agendas, conferring with business line leaders, documenting and making verbal and written presentations
Business process modeling experience
Strong understanding and use of project management techniques and testing processes and supervises their use
Ability to develop test schedules, review testing plans, track test issues and report on test results
Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously with limited supervision
Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications
Strong project management, problem solving, organization and analytical skills
Strong interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation communication skills
Strong leadership and negotiation skills
Location Expectations
The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $117,725.00 - $138,500.00 - $152,350.00
