Job Description

As a PE Specialist in the Smart Factory, your day-to-day responsibilities will involve providing onsite support for the new Smart Factory MES, including new plant implementations and ongoing system support. Youll assemble, debug, and install machines and systems, offer technical support and consultation for new MES implementations, and manage all phases of the machine-building process. Additionally, youll validate assembled equipment, support modifications, train plant personnel, and assist with repair issues. Developing custom extensions interfacing with MES and other systems, providing frontline technical support, and maintaining positive relationships with internal customers and support groups will also be key parts of your role. Youll work closely with various departments to identify and prioritize improvement opportunities, ensuring efficient and effective production processes.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field

6+ years of experience related to Production Engineering (PLC, Network, Scada/IOT, Robotics)

5+ years using MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems)

1+ year in the Automotive industry

1 year of software development experience (SQL, PowerBI, Ignition) Familiarity with Robotics

Familiarity with PFEMA development

Team oriented

Familiarity with TPS (Toyota Production System)

CATIA experience null
