Position Summary: BBU is on a marketing transformation journey, and we are seeking a Marketing and Media Analytics Manager who wants to help us build. This role is part of BBU's Media and Marketing Analytics team, which is part of the Marketing Center of Excellence. The ideal candidate will have a resilient entrepreneurial mindset that enjoys celebrating wins and learning from failures. We have several growing brands, and our portfolio already includes a slate of trusted and iconic brands - Thomas', Sara Lee, Entenmann's, and Bimbo/Marinela. The Marketing and Media Analytics Manager will have a strong understanding of A/B testing, Marketing Mix Modeling, and a passion for Digital Marketing. We are looking for a team player that will collaborate with Media Managers, Content Strategy Managers, and Brand Management on a day-to-day basis in our agile marketing practice. This role will also be a conduit between brands and the provider of our Marketing Mix Modeling, Agile Attribution and analytics, helping brand teams interpret and act on results. The Marketing and Media Analytics Manager will be responsible for maintaining, executing, and enhancing our media measurement system. This will include the management of multiple data sources, including retail sales data sets and media performance data sets from digital/social / programmatic platforms. This role will be responsible for all analytical inputs in test/experimentation design, identifying and executing test measurement methodologies, and analysis of testing results. This role is remote.

Key Job Responsibilities: Analyzes media/marketing performance across key levers (channel, tactic, audience, geography, etc.) to inform testing backlog and form recommendations about opportunities to improve marketing and media performance Leads analytical elements of marketing test design, including defining test methodology and KPIs Selects appropriate test and control groups (e.g. test/control markets for matched market methodology) Executes marketing test/experimentation measurement and analysis Translates and interprets marketing testing data to insights and business outcomes, and sizes impact of test results when applied at scale Creates, manages, and distributes testing dashboards/visualizations to cross-functional and leadership teams Contributes to the advancement and evolution of testing capabilities, including methodologies, dashboards, and data tools Collaborates with agency and third-party partners to internalize marketing performance data Supports the acceleration and advancement of BBU's marketing data ecosystem Interfaces with providers of marketing mix modeling and analyses and translates to ensure consistent use of marketing mix analysis across brands

Education and Work History: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred. A combination of education, training and experience that results in demonstrated competency to perform the work may be subs ituted. 5-7 years experience in a related field with a heavy focus on data analytics Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills essential for team collaboration Knowledge of advanced analysis and marketing measurement techniques, including marketing mix modeling, A/B testing, agile attribution, multi-variate testing, regression, segmentation Familiarity with marketing mix modeling providers like Ipsos, IRI, and Nielsen Familiarity with retail sales datasets (ideally from a supplier / CPG side) Experience with data programming and software like Python, SQL, R, SAS, Alteryx Skilled at creating data visualizations from raw data using advanced Excel functions, Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik, etc. Familiarity with digital marketing/media datasets and platforms like ad servers and DSPs Experience in performance media for successful consumer products brand(s); current or prior experience with paid social, display, video, search, and content syndication. Well-rounded understanding of Digital Media Ability to set KPI's and communicate performance, improve measurement Can translate media data to actionable insights to inform testing backlog creation/prioritization, test design details, and measurement. Ability to communicate test/optimization objectives and media buying details (e.g. targeting parameters, channel details, buy mechanics, audience data sources). Math, analytical, and forecasting skills Proficient in Microsoft Excel Ability to self-organize and execute deliverables independently. 15% travel Preferred skillset: Strong understanding of statistics Experience with ad serving technology: trafficking, pulling reports, making, and placing tracking tags Working knowledge of Google Analytics or similar web analytics suite Advanced understanding of platforms like Facebook Ads, Google Ads, Advanced TV, etc. Experience building or working with data engineers to build data products The physical and mental demands described in each job posting are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of each job.
