The Senior Manager, Global Commercial Strategy helps shape global commercial development strategies for pipeline products. The primary objective of this role is to support commercial opportunity assessment and prepare for commercialization of early-mid pipeline assets in Immuno-Dermatology. Key responsibilities include the development and execution of disease specific market analyses, support for the clinical development governance process, go-to-market planning/strategies, and tactics/tools to support the launch of new products.

This position reports to the Senior Director, Global Commercial Strategy Lead for Dermatology. The role is highly matrixed and will require close collaboration with R&D, cross-TA, cross functional, and Regional Commercial partners. Launch of dermatology product in the immunology market.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Advance and Shape Our Pipeline: Support development and execution of disease specific and therapeutic area strategies, with a focus on advancement of early-stage development assets in Atopic Dermatitis. Execute analytics to support and prepare for Phase 2 and 3 investment decisions.

  • Dermatology Portfolio Strategy and Business Planning: Partner with commercial and cross-functional team to refine and evolve portfolio strategy and lead development of dermatology Business Plan, including rigorous prioritization and aspirational planning for budget upside opportunities

  • Strategic and Innovative Market Development: Development and execution of integrated communication framework and plans for new dermatology assets, including internal/external communication strategy/planning; partner with Access and Pricing colleagues to inform cross-indication strategies

  • Inform and Communicate: Lead development of dermatology dashboard to track key commercial activities, market performance, and market dynamics. Maintain central repository for new asset materials and communication for dermatology indications.

  • Ensuring Competitive Readiness: Serve as AD competitive lead to ensure differentiation in highly competitive market. Outmaneuver current and future competition.

  • Drive Regional Partnership & Launch Preparation: Coordinate and communicate across all regions to inform, engage, align, and facilitate best practice sharing incorporating J&J Value Excellence into all aspects of the global and regional commercial strategies.

Qualifications

Education:

A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required. An advanced degree in business or scientific field is preferred.

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • A minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry

  • A minimum of 3-5 years demonstrated in-line marketing, market access, marketing support, or sales management/training experience executing marketing strategy

  • Ability to manage multiple demands and priorities, lead matrix teams, gain alignment and drive decision making

  • Acumen with clinical data and ability to credibly discuss with R&D and Medical Affairs colleagues

  • Ability to present complicated findings in a clear, concise, and thought-provoking manner

  • Ability to influence and negotiate with key stakeholders and senior leadership

  • Experience managing vendors/contractors and maintaining budgets

  • Ability to work in the Horsham, PA office 3 days a week

Preferred:

  • Prior Rheumatology, Dermatology, and/or Immunology experience is strongly preferred

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $118,000 to $203,550.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporations performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Companys discretion on an individual basis.

  • Vacation up to 120 hours per calendar year

  • Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington up to 56 hours per calendar year

  • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays up to 13 days per calendar year of Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
