Description Desktop Support Technician Robert Half is seeking a Desktop Support Analyst to join our client in Houma, Louisiana. The role will primarily focus on providing technical support for both hardware and software issues our users encounter. The industry is technology-based, involving tasks such as Windows Support, Laptop Imaging, and Active Directory. This role offers a long-term contract to permanent employment opportunity. This role is on-site in Houma, Louisiana and does not support C2C engagement.

Responsibilities: • Provide proficient support for Microsoft Windows and Office 365 related issues. • Handle hardware support for Dell PCs, ensuring optimal functionality and performance. • Use SCCM and PXE Boot for system configuration and management tasks. • Offer application support, troubleshooting, and resolving any application-related issues promptly. • Manage laptop imaging processes, ensuring systems are properly configured for user needs. • Use Active Directory for network management, user authentication and access control. • Maintain a high level of service by providing software support to users, addressing and resolving queries efficiently. • Utilize Citrix Technologies for delivering virtualized applications and desktops. • Handle computer hardware issues, ensuring minimal disruption to user operations. • Utilize ServiceNow for managing incident tickets and service requests. Requirements Requirements • Proven experience as a Desktop Support Analyst or similar role • Knowledge and experience with Citrix Technologies • Familiarity with Dell Technologies and computer hardware • Proficiency in Active Directory, creating users, password resets, etc. • Experience with SCCM & PXE Boot for PC Imaging • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, including installation and maintenance • Experience with computer imaging, including creating and deploying images • Strong problem-solving abilities • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal • Relevant certifications or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field would be advantageous.
