Description We are offering an employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk in Houston, Texas. The role requires a detail-oriented individual who can handle tasks related to customer credit and accounts receivable in the telecom industry. This position is based fully on-site and involves reconciling accounts, handling billing and cash collections, and using Microsoft Excel extensively.

Responsibilities:

• Process cash receipts efficiently and in a timely manner

• Verify customers' sales tax exemption status

• Update and maintain a large Excel sheet that tracks lockbox and credit card transactions daily

• Handle commercial collections and ensure delinquent payments are collected

• Maintain accurate records of all accounts receivable transactions

• Resolve any issues or inquiries related to customer credit

• Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data

• Work closely with the accounts team to ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met

• Assist in other duties as assigned by the team supervisor Requirements • Minimum of 2 years experience in an Accounts Receivable role or similar

• Proficiency in account reconciliation

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with billing processes and procedures

• Skilled in cash applications

• Experience in cash collections and commercial collections

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong organizational skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

• High level of integrity and trustworthiness

• Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively
