Inspired by Amazon’s use of AI and Machine Learning (ML) at scale to transform customer experiences with advanced fulfillment operations and agile supply chain planning, Amazon Web Services (AWS) is building powerful new tools and services for manufacturers to quickly take advantage of generative AI.

AWS Americas Industry Team is seeking a Manufacturing Industry Leader to join our fast-paced team. In this role, you will:

  1. Collaborate with AWS AutoMFG sales and partner sales to help customers solve their business problems

  2. Work with our strategic partners to execute solutions in the AWS Manufacturing business

  3. Drive joint Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy with key technology (ISV) and consulting (G/SI) partners

As the AMER Manufacturing Partner Development Specialist (PDS), your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Executing partner attached solutions in the AutoMFG accounts for the Americas region

  2. Managing the AutoMFG AGS partner pipeline.

  3. Contributing to the Manufacturing (Discrete and Process) Industry partner ecosystem strategy

  4. Developing relationships with Technology (ISV) and Consulting (G/SI) partners to accelerate opportunities

  5. Driving CXO-level relationships with manufacturing customers and partners

To be successful in this role, you should have deep experience in one or more of the following manufacturing sub-industries: Industrial, Consumer Goods (CPG), and/or Pharma Manufacturing.

Key job responsibilities

  1. Be part of the Americas Industry Team to drive the AMER Manufacturing partner strategy to our internal and external stakeholders including the AWS sales teams, partner sales, and industry events.

  2. Executing the AMER Manufacturing Partner strategic plan which includes aligning with partner development managers who manage our top AWS technology and consulting companies.

  3. Build C-level relationships with our top Manufacturing customers, and partners.

  4. Execute Go-to-market (GTM) plans with partners with clear and measurable Return on Investment (ROI).

  5. Represent the AMER Manufacturing industry including presenting at Executive Briefings and Conferences.

This role is part of AMER AutoMFG Industries partner team in support of the AutoMFG customers and sales along with partner sales.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience

  • 5+ years of professional or military experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level

  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

  • 6+ years working in or with automotive manufacturers.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations

  • Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
