Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Cash Reconciliation Specialist in Houston, Texas.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct bank reconciliations for all partnerships, both large and small

• Process daily cash management tasks, ensuring all documentation aligns

• Utilize Excel to sort, subtotal, and format information for efficient data management

• Research and resolve issues arising from incorrect system inputs

• Communicate professionally via phone and email to address any customer inquiries or concerns

• Transition to using Blackline software for transaction matching, following appropriate training

• Collaborate with a Quality Control Specialist to ensure new hires and current team members receive adequate training

• Manage and monitor customer accounts, taking appropriate action when necessary

• Maintain meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of the role to ensure accuracy in data handling and processing.

Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in Daily Cash Management

• Proven experience in Bank Reconciliations

• Familiarity with Ledger Reconciliations

• Proficiency in Cash Reconciliations

• Experience with using Great Plains (GPAC)

• Knowledge of Excel Formulas

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or related field preferred

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines

• Knowledge of general accounting principles and procedures.
