We are in the search for a Data Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team in the Financial Services industry. This role involves working with SQL, conducting data quality assessments, and contributing to the Data Governance Organization within the Enterprise Risk Management Department. The position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with management, business, and functional area partners to implement a data quality framework across the enterprise.

Responsibilities:

• Work with SQL to perform data quality assessments using an enterprise data quality operating model.

• Contribute to the Data Governance Organization within the Enterprise Risk Management Department.

• Collaborate with executive management, business, and functional area partners to implement the data quality framework across the enterprise.

• Design, implement, and document data quality procedures, metrics, KPIs, dashboards, and thresholds.

• Provide analytic support by coordinating data extraction from various databases and data interpretation.

• Develop an in-depth understanding of data quality management technology landscape, processes, and design principles.

• Design, develop, and deliver data quality, data profile, and metadata best practices for the enterprise.

• Utilize data quality tools to query and manipulate data in varying file formats.

• Collaborate with teams on data governance and catalog solutions, systems integrations, and master data management solutions.

• Write moderately complex SQL queries and conduct hands-on data analysis of databases and files using Excel and SQL.

Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a data quality assurance role within the financial services industry

• Proficient knowledge and understanding of ETL (Extract Transform Load) processes

• Strong SQL skills and experience

• Proven experience and understanding of data governance principles

• Experience with master data governance is essential

• Familiarity with IBM InfoSphere DataStage and InfoSphere DataStage tools

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
