Always Best Care Senior Services DAYSHIFT CAREGIVER in Houston, Texas

HIRING! DAYSHIFT/NIGHT SHIFT CAREGIVER Always Best Care Senior Services - Greater West Houston and Fort Bend Cty, TX is looking for a dedicated and compassionate caregiver to join our team. As a caregiver, you will provide essential care and support to elderly clients in the Sugar Land, Texas area. This is a full-time, individual contributor role, with the potential to work both day and night shifts. Responsibilities: - Follow a care plan outlined by a supervisor to provide daily living assistance to elderly clients, including but not limited to medication reminders, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and personal care - Monitor and track client health and well-being, and report any changes or concerns to the supervisor - Provide companionship and emotional support to clients - Assist with errands, appointments, and transportation as needed - Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation on client care and activities - Follow all safety and infection control protocols to protect clients and maintain a clean and healthy environment - Communicate effectively with clients, families, and supervisor to ensure the best care for clients Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Prior experience working as a caregiver, preferably in a senior care setting - Ability to pass a background check and reference check - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Empathy, patience, and compassion towards elderly clients - Flexibility to work both day and night shifts EEOC Statement: Always Best Care Senior Services - Greater West Houston and Fort Bend Cty, TX is an equal opportunity employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
