Job Title: DMS Software Project Manager

Location: Raleigh, NC or Charlotte, NC or Dallas, TX, Houston, TX or Austin, TX

Pay Range: starting from $70,000

What’s the Job?

  • DMS Software Project Manager will be responsible for managing Document Management Software projects that focus on document and data workflows for customers.

  • This position requires managing projects that convert technical knowledge into action utilizing technology to accomplish the goals of customers.

  • This will entail managing technology projects for customers by managing the cost, time, scope constraints, and facilitating great communication.

  • Will work closely with engineers and account managers to ensure our customers’ expectations are met on time and on budget.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure GREAT communication throughout the project life cycle

  • Plan and coordinate projects utilizing project methodologies and related tools to bring projects to successful completion, within scope, on time, and within budget

  • Lead team and client meetings, using engaging, informative presentation methodologies

  • Develop and manage project plans specifying goals, strategy, staffing, and scheduling

  • Deliver timely and effective updates to internal and external contacts, and update associated systems

  • Take an active role in resolving conflicts, acting as a first level of escalation, and managing the delivery of the solution

  • Oversees activities of project personnel to ensure projects progress on schedule

  • Manage client expectations and day-to-day client interactions

  • Manage and actively participate as a member of the project team to help create a sustainable, viable solution that is tailored to the customer’s requirements and objectives, solution best practices

  • Oversee a positive implementation experience for the customer to ensure customer satisfaction, secure the potential for future software and services revenue

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years’ Document Management Software Project Experience

  • Understanding of basic IT infrastructure

  • Industry vertical or solution area experience

  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the principal duties of the job

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

  • Ability to sit at a desk for prolonged periods of time

  • Ability to talk on the phone and work with various computer tools and applications

  • Ability to type and compose written communication in various forms
