Weatherford is hiring for an Electro/Mechanical Technician in our West Hardy Road facility in Houston. This is a hands on, rewarding role where you will be building/wiring of new build (Capex) products and tools for the oil and gas industry. The Electro/Mechanical Technician will be working within a supportive, inclusive team in a fast-paced, progressive environment. Has responsibility for providing "hands-on" technical support to the production, equipment, and/or tools.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: (not listed in any particular order)

• To maintain tools as per procedure or as per supervisor & engineering with completing relevant paperwork

• Perform make ups of tubulars with torque machine.

• Conduct individual tests to ensure integrity of assemblies

• Operate overhead cranes and forklifts.

• Perform slinging as per regulation

• To ensure that workshop is always in a clean state at all times.

• Organization of verification of metrology and equipment calibration.

• Maintenance of equipment in proper form.

• Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of • the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.

• Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.

• Be willing to train on new technology as Weatherford progresses in the oil industry.

Primary Background Requirements:

• 2+ years related experience preferred with High School Diploma (or Secondary School • Diploma, or equivalent) preferred

• Knowledge of windows based systems Mechanically Inclined experience required

• Must have the ability to take occasional call.

• Must have the ability to work occasional weekend and nights

• Must have a valid driver's license as company vehicle is provided.
