JOB SUMMARY

As Fabrication Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the welding, machine shop (shear, bender, and press brake machines), and paint shop operations while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency . Reporting directly to the General Manager, this position is based in Houston, TX.

  WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Proven leadership experience in welding, machine shop, and paint shop environments.

• Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, including MIG/TIG welding, shear, press brake, and bending operations.

• Understanding of paint shop workflows, including surface preparation and finishing techniques.

• At least 2 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, with a focus on people development and team mentoring.

• Hands-on experience training employees and providing coaching to improve skills and performance.

• Exceptional communication and organizational skills to ensure production goals and safety standards are met.

  WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Supervise daily operations in welding, machine shop, and paint shop areas to ensure efficiency and quality.

• Train team members in job-specific tasks, including fabrication techniques, safety protocols, and machine operations.

• Develop and coordinate production schedules to meet internal goals and customer expectations.

• Mentor and coach employees, fostering their professional growth and enhancing team performance.

• Conduct regular meetings to communicate production expectations, safety standards, and workflow improvements.

• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address issues affecting production schedules and efficiency.

• Monitor and manage resources, ensuring materials, tools, and equipment are available for seamless operations.
