Job Description

An employer is seeking a Lead GIS Systems Analyst to join their team in Downtown Houston, TX. He or she will be joining the Data and Analytics organization to help build mapping applications for the organization. This strategic role combines technical expertise in ArcGIS development with GIS management oversight to accelerate our transformation into a data-driven company. The ideal candidate will collaborate with Data and Analytics leadership to integrate GIS capabilities into our enterprise data strategy, enabling data-driven decision-making across operations, asset management, and business intelligence. As a key Data and Analytics team member, this role will be instrumental in aligning GIS initiatives with our broader data strategy, ensuring geospatial data integration with our enterprise data platform, and developing innovative solutions that leverage location intelligence for business value. He or she will be the GIS mapping application SME and will work alongside business units to create new mapping applications, enhance current ones or give feedback if one can be created. This is a direct hire role with a salary range of $125K - $145K and is onsite 5 days a week.

Skills and Requirements

7+ years of experience developing GIS solutions with Esri's ArcGIS suite

3+ years of experience managing enterprise GIS implementations

ArcGIS API experience for Python or JavaScript

Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Server administration

Ability to manage GIS related vendor relationships, manage multiple projects at a time, and project budget management

Bachelor's degree in GIS, Computer Science, Geography, Information Systems, or work related experience Advanced degree or GIS certifications null
