Job Summary and Qualifications

Seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join our laboratory team who will foster an environment of teamwork, quality and safety for our patients. What You Will Do In This Role:

  • You will perform manual and automated test procedures.

  • You will accurately report laboratory results, to include special calculations and critical values.

  • You will perform a broad range of laboratory procedures or concentrates your activities in one area such as chemistry, hematology, and microbiology.

  • You will answer inquiries regarding tests, methodology, test specificity and sensitivity.

  • You will evaluate and solve problems related to the collection and processing of biological specimens for analysis.

  • You will work efficiently and respond to stats and other priority tests to provide optimum patient care.

What Qualifications You Will Need:

  • Associate Degree in a Chemical, Physical, Biological, or Medical Laboratory Technology/Clinical Laboratory Technology (MLT/CLT) from an accredited institution.

  • Or be qualified under CLIA guidelines for MLT/CLT.

  • MLT (ASCP) or equivalent preferred.

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical laboratory preferred.
