Our client located in the Greenspoint area of Houston, TX moving to the Downtown area of Houston, TX is seeking a Payroll Specialist. The Payroll Specialist must have 3+ years payroll processing experience in a high-volume multi-state and Canadian environment using a large payroll processing system. The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for processing high volume multi-state and Canadian payroll on a bi-weekly basis. This is a direct hire opportunity paying up to 33.65/HR plus benefits. Working 100% in office

Requirements

• 3+ years of previous payroll experience

• Proficiency in Multi-state Payroll and Canadian

• Well-founded grasp of ADP Online

• Garnishments payroll experience

• Comprehensive knowledge of Full Cycle Payroll

• General familiarity with Paychex Payroll

• Proven knowledge of Ceridian

• IRS W-2 Forms experience

• Command of Process Bi-weekly Payroll

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Enthusiasm when it comes to learning new systems and ideas

• Outstanding data entry skills

• Prior Payroll software experience preferred

• Attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

• Possess strong organizational and follow-up skills
