We are looking for an experienced phlebotomist, MA or RN interested in teaching a fast tracked Phlebotomy course. Phlebotomy Adjunct Instructor Phlebotomy instructor specialize in teaching a fast track 1 week course in clinical and administrative procedures. Part-time Job Responsibilities Overview Of The MA Instructor Position's Responsibilities: Maintain a teaching assignment for each one Week Assignment. Instruct the assigned course(s) in accordance with the approved curriculum. Ensure that the quality and quantity of instruction provided in the classroom is consistent with the stated objectives of the school and industry. Maintain a daily record of student attendance and grades in accordance with school policy. Ensure that the classroom and schools atmosphere is conductive to maximum learning and retention of students. Qualified Candidates Must Have: At least 3-4 years of recent and well-rounded experience as a Phlebotomist. Minimum of 3 years in the Phlebotomy Field. National Certification required. Current CPR certification. Great communication skills. Teaching experience is preferred but not required. Teaching Duties/Responsibilities As a part of their classroom responsibilities, phlebotomy instructors must create a course outline and syllabus, present class lectures and educational demonstrations, prepare course benchmarks (such as quizzes and exams) and maintain student grades/attendance reports. Other Duties/Responsibilities In addition to educating Phlebotomy students, instructors may be required to fulfill other responsibilities. Depending upon the employer, Phlebotomy instructors may participate in school open houses, Note: Adjunct instructors employment is based on the ability to maintain at least an 85% retention rate as well as effectively and successfully teach the course curriculum. Any instructor who fails to comply is not guaranteed employment the following term.
