Our clients' Electrification Division is seeking a motivated and experienced Project Engineer to join our team. This role is perfect for a go-getter who thrives in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. You will be working on-site full-time, managing and executing projects related to electrical systems. We value individuals who are proactive and willing to take the initiative to solve problems and learn on the job.

location: Houston, Texas

salary: $90,000 - 115,000 per year

work hours: 8am to 4pm

education: Bachelors

responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee engineering projects from inception to completion.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve project-related issues efficiently.

  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors as needed.

  • Ensure all projects adhere to company standards, timelines, and budgets.

  • Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders.

  • Handle any ad-hoc tasks that arise during project execution.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

  • 2-8 years of experience in project engineering (experience level is flexible).

  • Solid understanding of electrical systems, particularly in the electrification sector.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

  • Solid communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

  • Experience in working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with little to no micromanagement.
