Job Summary and Qualifications

The Imaging RN coordinates, supervises and provides safe and professional nursing care of patients. It will be very important that they utilize excellent customer service when interacting with all department patients, families, all hospital staff, and other Imaging customers. The Imaging RN offers the highest quality safe nursing care to patients in accordance with superior nursing service standards of practice, such care includes patient assessment, providing physician assistance during cases.

What you will do in this role:

• Open to and actively seeks to improve and apply new skills.

• Understands actions of medications.

• Communicates effectively and coordinates procedure performance with other departments and physicians.

• Has knowledge of sterile technique and maintains during all procedures.

• Assures all documentation necessary for procedure(s) facilitation is accurate and complete

• Actively participates in all time-out processes and other safety measures.

• Maintains supply inventory for procedures.

• Assists imaging department with RN / Patient care needs.

• Participates in performance improvement activities

• Ensures orders are valid and entered appropriately, performs appropriate nursing documentation in systems.

What qualifications you will need:

• One-year medical surgical experience; prefer ICU/ER experience with knowledge of special procedures.

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• Registered Nurse, BSN preferred

• Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree
