Healthcare Market Division (HMD) is delivering high-value diagnostics to Improve Health and Lab Economic Outcomes, providing:

Position Summary:

The Sales Order Representative will collaborate with HMD field, virtual, and LSG sales teams to handle intricate orders, provide assistance for important business initiatives, and contribute to the successful attainment of Fisher Healthcare’s sales objectives. They will also aim to improve data integrity in the areas of EDI order processing and quarter end LSG backorder resolution resulting in improved efficiencies and Customer Appreciation Scores. In performing the primary duties, the TOR exercises discretion and independent judgment with respect to activity based issue resolution, prioritizing tasks and working with the various functional teams to resolve errors.

This role will collaborate with the Business Solutions Managers for Implementation of EDI to enable the sales team to maintain customer loyalty, improve customer satisfaction, improve sales productivity, support initiatives of the business, and enable achievement of sales targets.

A day in the Life:

  • EDI Data Accuracy

  • Process daily EDI kick outs for the division while maintaining a record in salesforce.com via cases.

  • Work directly with customers to resolve order failures.

  • Be knowledgeable of overall EDI system understanding how all transaction types, i.e. 810, 855, 856, 857, etc. work and their effect on the customer and Fisher systems.

  • Technical Order Entry

  • GSD Quoting, Order Entry and Order Management - Follow standard operating procedures and related work instructions to process or renew custom orders, generate quotes, and other order fulfillment activities.

  • Collaborate with Commercial Finance and Product Manager on action items needed to implement the order.

  • Build a working relationship with the LSG technical sales personnel, HMD Capital Contracting and HMD Sales Account Managers to create Fisher Healthcare quotes ensuring all product information is accurate.

Keys to Success (Minimum Requirements/Qualifications):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science or Business or equivalent years of experience required.

  • 2+ years of Customer or Sales Support experience.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Ability to communicate with business partners in a professional manner in verbal and written mode.

  • Must possess computer proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Must have working knowledge of Cognos or other business intelligence tool.

  • Ability to initiate, prioritize, and self-direct workload.

  • Strong orientation to accuracy and detail.

  • Excellent interpersonal/team work skills.

  • Previous experience with mainframe and/or database systems.

  • Previous exposure to Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) or similar system.

  • Work effectively with multiple stakeholders, to manage both competing requirements and concurrent project activity.

  • Strong project, time and stakeholder management competency is essential to maintain priorities and meet established target dates.

  • Ability to manage self, including time and surrounding circumstances to deliver both short term and long term goals.

  • Strong work-ethic, the ideal candidate will have a commitment to continuous learning and development, and seek opportunities to stretch capabilities.

  • Occasional travel as the need arises for training and sales meetings.
