Sysco Senior Director, Finance, Sales & Marketing in HOUSTON, Texas

Our Global Support Center/ Corporate Office is located in the Energy Corridor- off I10 and N Eldridge.

Hybrid Role: In-office Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. Work from home on Thursday and Friday.

Provides financial leadership and decision support to the Local Sales organization and oversees the Local Sales Finance team. Partners with our Street Sales team and field Finance leaders to achieve Sales and company goals. Directs and plans the forecasting and budget development process for Sales. Develop and review the results of analytical tools for the purpose of measuring, explaining and implementation action plans to improve performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage Local Sales AOP and budgeting process

  • Provide decision support, corporate reporting and insight to Local Sales leaders

  • Deliver reporting to ensure visibility to upcoming contracts, value and investment ROI

  • Strategic initiative development and KPI tracking

  • Financial analysis and development of evaluation tools

  • Identify growth, margin and efficiency opportunities

  • Perform Ad-hoc analytics and financial decision support

  • Create consistent reporting packages for Local Sales

  • Attract, develop and retain finance talent

  • Create reporting and communicate insight for Sales leadership team including metric development

  • Manage Sales monthly/quarterly business review process to provide business insight for Sales Leadership

  • Field sales team specific responsibilities

  • Support the Sales transformation metrics and tracking; tie to results

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience

  • 15+ years of Finance or Accounting years

  • Foodservice or food industry background preferred

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred

  • MBA Degree or CPA preferred

Skills:

  • Financial or business-related analysis experience including previous experience in managing a finance team.

  • Strong analytical, interpersonal skills and broad knowledge of accounting principles, practices and procedures.

  • High business acumen and increased collaboration with both functional business leaders

  • Executive-level communication and reporting

  • Adequate capacity to handle regular responsibilities and ad-hoc requests
