The Grundfos Water Utility team is looking for a Senior Quality Operations Manager. In the Water Utility Manufacturing Quality Team, we are the link to bring the Voice of our customers to the manufacturing facilities to measure and improve our quality level by implementing and monitoring the Quality standards and tools that help the organization to manufacturing quality products with a Zero-defect mindset covering end to end processes (supplier – process – customer).
You will report to the Quality Director and work on a hybrid 3 day in office schedule out of our Brookshire, TX office.
Relocation for this position cannot be supported and qualified candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. Your main responsibilities :
Accountable for bringing the Voice of the Customer to the Manufacturing sites and follow up on actions towards customer satisfaction through ECSS, Customer visits and Customer KPI’s.
GPS tool development, implementation and maturity enhancing on the Quality roadmaps.
Completion and success of end-to-end projects implementation including Root cause analysis training and improvement.
Implement and monitor the usage of the Grundfos Quality Standards & tools on Water Utility plants and assembly centers.
Participate in Warranty Improvement Projects by leading improvements in manufacturing processes and products.
Monitoring the Quality level of the manufacturing facilities and support actions to achieve goals.
Help develop Quality teams across the division.
Your background :
We imagine that you have:
A Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical.)
Experience in a similar role for at least 10 years (at least 5 years manager Experience as a Quality Manager)
Management experience in a manufacturing plant required
Fluent proficiency in English.
Practitioner of SPC, PPAP, FMEA and MSA.
Practitioner on Problem Solving Tools ( K&T, Ishikawha, Shainin)
ISO, IATF or VDA knowledge.
Ability to work on a hybrid schedule out of our Brookshire, TX facility.
Ability to travel at least 50% as needed.
