Job Title: Skid Assembler

Job Description

The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling fabricated parts into large or heavy subassemblies and complete units, testing and calibrating parts to ensure they meet tolerances and product specifications. Utilize hand tools and power tools (wrenches, pliers, drills, and impacts) to assemble fabricated parts to relatively large or heavy subassemblies and complete units depending on the drawings/blueprints. There will be times you will work on your own and times you will work with a group of other assemblers. Utilize a propane hand torch to apply shrink wrap material to product prior to shipping. Perform workplace safety protocols, including proper tool usage, lifting techniques, and hazard identification.

Requirements

• Assembly of large or heavy skids

• MUST HAVE SKID ASSEMBLY EXPERIENCE*

• Testing and calibrating parts

• Reading and interpreting drawings/blueprints

• Using hand tools and power tools

• Applying shrink wrap material with a propane hand torch

Work Environment

Production environment with exposure to loud noise, moving machinery and other hazards. Frequent lifting and moving objects between 10 - 50 pounds. Safety protocols must be followed at all times. First shift 7AM - 3:30PM M-F
