Insight Global Soldering Technician in Houston, Texas

Job Description

Job Summary: A client of Insight Global is seeking a Soldering Technician will be responsible for assembling and soldering printed circuit board assemblies (PCBA) to meet our quality standards. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work with various soldering techniques and equipment.

$18/hr to $21/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

1+ year of soldering experience

Perform hand soldering of electronic components on PCBAs.

Inspect and test PCBAs to ensure they meet quality standards.

Operate and maintain soldering equipment and tools.

Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.

Identify and resolve any soldering defects or issues.

Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure compliance with industry standards. null
