Aerotek Soldering Technician in Houston, Texas

Job Title: Soldering Technician

Job Description

Candidates will be soldering small circuit boards used in sensors and relay switches for various industries. These components are very small and some require the need to use a magnifying glass. They will be using work instructions and some wiring diagrams to ensure proper placement of wires. This position will require both Surface Mount and Through Hole soldering on boards. Candidates will be required to take a soldering test including a through hole test and a surface mount test. This is not a pass/fail but it will determine what area they may fit into.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 150 Day(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Houston, Texas.

Work Environment

They work 4-10 hour shifts on first shift. Mon-Thurs 7am-5:30pm (Some Fridays and Saturdays). Air conditioned facility, will be working in a work station at a desk while sitting.
