Description

We are seeking a Sr. Accountant to join our team in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining general ledgers, calculating fund net asset value, and delivering financial packages to fund managers. This role is essential in providing daily operational support for funds and assisting clients with online portal access and inquiries.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain general ledgers and ensure their accuracy

• Calculate periodic fund net asset value and performance returns

• Deliver monthly financial packages to fund managers

• Perform period-end closes along with completing special reporting specific to each fund

• Distribute capital statements to each investor

• Review new investor subscription packets, perform due diligence and run background checks on new investors for compliance with anti-money laundering policies and regulations

• Provide daily operational support for funds, including banking services, generating wire transfers, bank account transfers and account set up

• Assist clients with online portal access and questions

• Complete other duties as assigned by the senior manager of fund accounting.

Requirements

• Experience in public accounting firm with financial services clients

• Knowledge of Fund Accounting practices

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
