Description We are offering an opportunity for a Staff Accountant within the industry. The selected candidate will join our team located in Houston, Texas, 77098, United States. The role involves managing the general ledger, preparing and reviewing financial reports, and performing analysis on operating statements.

Responsibilities:

• Handle all elements of the general ledger, including the preparation and input of journal entries, and maintaining accounting estimates.

• Conduct account reconciliations and bank statement reconciliations.

• Prepare and review financial reports related to income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and expected operations.

• Ensure the completion and accuracy of the general ledger entries and activities for month-end financial results.

• Analyze operating statements, comparing actual results to budget, and investigate and explain any variances.

• Utilize skills in Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Month End Close, NetSuite appropriately to accomplish tasks. Requirements • Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role

• Proficient in Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Month End Close

• Experience with NetSuite software is preferred

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required

• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification is a plus

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Office applications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
