Description We are offering a contract-to-hire opportunity for a Systems Security Administrator in the education industry. This role is based in Houston, Texas and requires on-site presence. As a Systems Security Administrator, you'll manage the security of servers and systems, administrate policies in O365, and respond to audit findings.

Responsibilities:

• Manage vulnerability and patch management for servers and systems

• Administer policies in Microsoft Office 365

• Respond to audit findings and implement necessary measures

• Write and document all security policies

• Focus on servers and platforms – detecting vulnerabilities

• Utilize Auditing, Security Vulnerability, Vulnerability Analysis, Vulnerability Assessment skills

• Use Microsoft, MS Office 365, Microsoft 365 Enterprise skills for system administration

• Administer Database Platform, Server Platform

• Implement Cyber security policies and Security Policy. Requirements • Proficiency in auditing and vulnerability analysis.

• Demonstrated experience in security vulnerability assessments.

• Proficiency in using Microsoft tools such as MS Office 365 and Microsoft 365 Enterprise.

• Knowledge of various database and server platforms.

• Proven experience in developing and implementing cybersecurity policies.

• Ability to create and manage security policies.

• Experience in the education industry would be an advantage.

• Ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical staff.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

• Must be proactive in updating job knowledge by tracking and understanding emerging security practices and standards.

• Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills, ability to communicate security and risk-related concepts to technical and non-technical audiences. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
