RESPONSIBILITIES

The Technical Manager - Tubular Running Services will be responsible to support overall business of specified product line grouping on a geozone scale. This includes supporting Geozone Management with high profile projects coordination, product line strategy and implementation, product development direction, technical and commercial support. Collaborates closely with Global Product Line team to provide geozone input, and to gather and implement product line strategies across the locations.

Responsibilities and duties

  • Inventory management and planning for PL/ customer requirements

  • Tied to Strategy for PL (share, margin, cost, revenue client needs)

  • Conduit to Global Product Line (value proposition, how take to market, how price in market)

  • Bridge/ Focal point between Operations, NAM Product Line and Global Product Line.

  • Elevate from primarily Operational to balance of Operational and Strategic

  • Sales Interface – Support sales process to solve client needs/ problems

  • Provide guidance on Product needs and plan for same.

  • External Industry and regulatory visibility.

  • Oversee/ Assure Competency assessments and training.

  • Provide CPAR and Quality support.

  • Identify technology gaps with future view

  • Support tenders – not responsible for but recommend/ provide input as needed

  • Act as R&D field trial support/ interface

  • Act as Manufacturing interface.

  • Oversee NextGen Development progress for the PL.

  • Effective communication between external customers as well as local / global stake holders

  • Provide timely and appropriate information and support to relevant internal customers.

  • Conducts regular customer Project Review meetings in conjunction with sales to ensure our services, products and technical support meet expectation.

  • Develop short- and long-range plans with the country/area leadership to promote and meet the service delivery requirements for the client

  • Assists in defining the budgetary requirements based on qualification / validation activity plans.

  • Work closely with key stakeholders across the organization to provide reporting and analysis that will facilitate business improvement.

  • Provide a critical support role in tracking the execution of business plans.

QUALIFICATION

  • Engineering degree and/or Project Management qualification, ideally to Masters level Business / Commercial qualification (desirable)

  • Knowledgeable in the product line´s technical requirements and industry standards.

  • Willingness to innovate and do things differently to improve product performance and efficiency.

  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and methodologies quickly.

  • Understanding of relevant industry regulations and compliance requirements.

  • Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.

  • Be able to implement and manage change effectively.

  • 5 plus years experience with TRS services and products

  • Have project management skills including abilities in project accountability and cost management

  • Ability to handle multiple project activities simultaneously, coordinate and interact with multiple company departments and outside companies

  • Have interpersonal, decision-making and negotiation skills
