The HR Systems team manages strategy, operations, and governance of Workday HCM and delivers end to end solutions for our global businesses. You will be part of a team that is responsible for delivering configuration in support of global projects, enhancements, and issues in Workday and related functional areas. Additionally, this team also provides tiered support for end users.

We are searching for a highly experienced Workday Analyst who will function as Workday subject matter expert (SME) for our Total Rewards CoE, including Core and Advanced Compensation and Benefits.

This role will involve collaborating, influencing, and working effectively with cross functional partners such as CoEs, People Business Partners, and other business functions to configure, troubleshoot, test and deploy Workday configuration; this role will require working flexible hours to accommodate Global stakeholders and projects when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the CoE as well as other cross functional partners to understand strategic direction for the functional area and recommend Workday best practices

  • Deliver projects, operational updates, and troubleshoot issues related to Workday modules

  • Support the Total Rewards CoE with configuration, testing, and management of compensation processes in Workday, including the annual Compensation Review processes

  • Analyze current processes, future needs and assess gaps between as-is and to-be processes. Provide solutions in Workday to bridge the gap including data and security changes that are needed to enable the solution

  • Support Workday Releases, Enhancements, Features, etc. for bi-annual Workday releases. Collaborate with the CoE to determine features to implement and which features to hold for future implementation.

  • Maintain understanding of key pain points and improvement opportunities for configuration and use of HR Systems

  • Analyze, understand and share learnings from peer groups, Workday Community, and professional networks to build strong knowledge of the product. Drive knowledge sharing with team members

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including HR leaders, IT professionals, and end-users

  • Facilitate the creation of custom reports and loading of data across Workday tenants

  • Log and maintain cases in Workday Help. Take ownership of case, communicate, and drive knowledge sharing within associated business teams through to resolution

Experience:

  • Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree and 4+ years of work experience, or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.

  • 4+ years of Workday HCM functional configuration experience, specifically compensation, benefits, and absence modules

  • Excellent public presentation, design judgment, situational judgement, consulting, learning agility, end-to-end process management, process improvement and timely problem-solving skills

  • Ability to foster and maintain strong working relationships with end users, peers and leaders

  • Strong understanding of HR processes and best practices

  • Strong analytical ability and attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment, interacting effectively with all levels of personnel, including management staff and support staff

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.

  • Excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills

  • Ability to be a proactive, self-starter, who understands the details within a much larger context

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US, company will not sponsor work visa

  • Prior experience with Workday and other HRIS systems

  • Experience of working in an agile project delivery environment is a plus

  • Other duties as assigned
