Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
As a Electronics Technician, you will be responsible for custom electronic installation on customers' trucks. This role involves installing electric circuits for various electrical accessories, utilizing prints and diagrams in truck build-up processes, and communicating with managers to assess jobs and identify needed parts and materials. You will also work cooperatively with customers and develop continual process improvements.
Responsibilities
Install electric circuits (wiring) for various electrical accessories including lighting, automatic salting controls, sensors, and switches.
Utilize prints and diagrams in truck build-up processes.
Communicate daily with the manager to assess assigned jobs and identify parts and materials required for build-up.
Work cooperatively and proactively with customers.
Develop continual process improvement with the manager and co-workers.
Parts delivery and pickup.
Maintain a clean and uncluttered work area.
Work Environment
This is a 1st shift position working 6am to 3:30pm. Currently, we work 9.5-hour days Monday to Friday and two Saturdays per month from 7am to 11am. The shop environment includes exposure to noise, dust, moving mechanical parts, and temperature variations. Physical demands include manual and finger dexterity, heavy lifting (50 pounds or more), twisting, bending, reaching, stretching, long periods of standing, and long hours.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00
